Organizers can set a "markup" price on items; the difference between the base cost and the sale price is then paid out as a commission after the store closes.

Because items are custom-made to order, changes or cancellations are generally not possible once the store has closed and production has begun.

Standard ordering and production typically takes 2-3 weeks after the store's closing date.
